UPDATE OCTOBER 16After months of fundraising, and with your support, we will be installing a magic carpet on our tubing hill! This 700' carpet will allow us to get guests up the hill 3 times as faster than before! The carpet will be arriving October 18th, and we will begin the installation on October 21st.
While the groundwork has been laid, there is still a lot to be done in order to complete the installation of the Magic Carpet. We are looking for volunteers the week of October 21st to work in 3 hour shifts. If you would like more information about volunteering, or if you would like to sign up for a shift follow this link. The addition of this carpet to this hill will allow us to accommodate even more guest and will allow us to further our mission of providing outdoor programming (and fun) for our youth! Thank again for your support! |

THE GREAT IDEA |
WHO HAD IT... |
The tubing hill was opened Thursday, January 5, 2006. The addition of the tubing hill provided another source of revenue for the hill. It invited a different user to the hill to experience Mount Ski Gull in a new way. By creating this opportunity, the board, executive director and staff at that time set Mount Ski Gull in the direction of becoming more sustainable and giving it a chance to grow.

Now the time has come to upgrade and advance a dream. After much research and discussion, the board decided that the priority task of the Capital Campaign would be the one that produces more revenue for the hill. By making the tubing hill more efficient and tripling the capacity, the hill will not have to turn people away during the peak days.
