MSG CODE OF CODUCT

MSG Code of Conduct
  • Must follow all rules stated in the NSAA Your Responsibility Code (listed below).
    • NSAA Your Responsibility Code
      • Always stay in control. You must be able to stop or avoid people or objects.
      • People ahead or downhill of you have the right-of-way. You must avoid them.
      • Stop only where you are visible from above and do not restrict traffic.
      • Look uphill and avoid others before starting downhill or entering a trail.
      • You must prevent runaway equipment.
      • Read and obey all signs, warnings, and hazard markings.
      • Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
      • You must know how and be able to load, ride and unload lifts safely. If you need assistance, ask the lift attendant.
      • Do not use lifts or terrain when impaired by alcohol or drugs.
      • If you are involved in a collision or incident, share your contact information with each other and a ski area employee.
    • Winter sports involve risk of serious injury or death. Your knowledge, decisions and actions contribute to your safety and that of others. If you need help understanding the Code, please ask any ski area employee.
  • Must show respect at all times to all other skiers/riders/employees/guests/equipment/facility of Mount Ski Gull.
  • Must have a daily lift ticket, season pass, or tubing ticket visible at all times.
  • Must abide by all local, state and federal laws.​
Consequences for violating the MSG Code of Conduct are at the discretion of MSG Management; they can include but are not limited to: warnings, loss of daily ski/snowboarding/snow tubing privileges, or loss of privileges for longer periods of time including the entire season. Immediate pass clipping/disciplinary action decisions will be made by the MSG Manager on Duty for that day. If needed further disciplinary actions may be made MSG Leadership and Management at a later time.
Season Passholder 4 Violations Policy
1st Offense- corner of season pass will be clipped and season passholder will be sent home for the day. 2nd Offense- second corner of season pass will be clipped and season passholder will be sent home for the day. After 4 offenses the season pass will no longer be valid for that season, and skiing/snowboarding privileges will be revoked.
Mount Ski Gull Mission & Values
Mount Ski Gull operates a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) facility that receives no local, state or federal funding. Lift tickets sales and season pass sales provide only a portion of Mount Ski Gull's annual income. The ski hill relies on fundraising, grants, donations, partnerships, and volunteers. Mount Ski Gull's focus is to provide equal access to all constituents regardless of disability, age or economic status. Our focus is to provide equal accessibility to all users of Mount Ski Gull. We offer skiing, snowboarding and tubing in one convenient location. Helping our community to become a better place to live has been our guiding principle for 60 years. Mount Ski Gull's mission is to provide challenging activities in a fun and healthy environment which empowers youth to develop confidence, competency and compassion. These skills and values help shape the character of our youth. Every child and young adult interested should be able to take full advantage of the opportunities we provide, regardless of their financial situation.
